After two games with the Diamondbacks in 2001, Lyle got a more extensive look when he appeared in 10 games for Arizona in 2002 and collected his first big-league RBI. A .343 hitter at AAA Tucson last year and the league leader in multiple offensive categories for AA El Paso in 2001, Lyle is the Diamondbacks' first baseman of the future

Stats
The Milwaukee Brewers acquired Lyle Overbay from the Arizona Diamondbacks in the Richie Sexson trade. Overbay will take over Sexson's starting first base job, and he'll probably get a longer leash than he received in Arizona. He'll probably never be a Fantasy slugger, but Overbay could be a decent NL-only option in 2004.
